De mondstukken van Bas en Sax worden gemaakt van PETG* op een 3D printer.
Deze wijze van productie is gekozen om kleine series mondstukken op maat te maken.
We hebben alleen mondstukken beschikbaar voor bijzondere instrumenten waar het commerciele aanbod beperkt is.
Voor de Contra alt klarinet hebben we de volgende modellen beschikbaar:

Naast bovenstaande modellen zijn er nog veel variaties op verzoek mogelijk, vaak zonder meerprijs:
- facing op maat
- tipopening op maat
- ronde throat en ronde kamer
De mondstukken worden geprint met een professionele 3D printer met een verticale resolutie van 0,08 mm en 100% dichtheid. Het printen van een mondstuk duurt ruim 8 uur.
Wie wil experimenteren met afwijkende vormgeving kan een prototype laten printen. Dat is voordeliger en wordt geprint met een 1 tot 2 mm dikke buitenwand met daarbinnen 40% dichtheid (infill). De prijs 1/3 van een definitieve print.
Het printmateriaal is PETG, dit is food safe materiaal en wordt ook gebruikt voor voedindsmiddelen.
Toch wordt aangeraden het materiaal regelmatig schoon te maken bij intensief gebruik.
